Mary Ann joined the firm in 2000, and became a partner is 2009.
After graduating from The University of Chicago with an A.B. in Romance Languages and Literature (1993), Mary Ann worked in advertising for four years before attending DePaul College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor (2000). While there, she received the coveted DePaul Service Award, was President of the DePaul Chapter of the ACLU, and interned at DePaul’s International Human Rights Law Institute. During her final year of law school she clerked at a matrimonial law firm in Chicago.
Currently a member of the Illinois and Chicago Bar Associations, Mary Ann has volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House at Wyler’s Children’s Hospital and Friends of Battered Women and their Children.
Mary Ann has well-rounded experience in all matters pertaining to family law, and her primary concern is the long-term implications of the resolutions she seeks for her clients. Mary Ann is an assertive negotiator and pursues the practice of family law with a holistic and empathetic approach.
Mary Ann speaks fluent French, and basic German and Spanish, and therefore enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
